    • No booking necessary!
    • Please ensure that you arrive in a vehicle (scrap will not be purchased from anyone on foot). *If you use hired transport (i.e. Taxi) ensure that the company holds a waste carrier licence, as this may be asked to be seen
    • Bring along some recognised form of photo I.D. (i.e. Photo card drivers licence).
    • If you would like to open an account and to be paid electronically then please bring along your bank details, it only takes a minute to set up!
    • Obey site signage and any instructions from our staff, it’s for your own safety.

    • All types of scrap metal bought with quick payment.
    • Domestic and commercial scrap accepted.
    • Collections available (please enquire).
    • Skip hire.
    • Alu-can recycling point.
    • Factory clearances.

    Payment

    Cash ban on buying and selling scrap metal (December 2012)

    We now only have 2 methods of payment available:

    • Cheque
    • Electronic bank transfer (We will need your bank details for this and the payment is made on the same working day)

    We have introduced a minimum payment charge of £1 on any transactions under £10, this allows us to continue buying small amounts of material, however on some very small transactions it is not economical for us to make a payment. In these circumstances you can still leave the metal with us for recycling.

    There are items that we will not take at the yard, so please if in any doubt, give us a call to avoid disappointment 01242 519227

    • Containers with remnants of liquid
    • Gas bottles (sealed containers)
    • Beer barrels
    • General waste
    • WEEE Waste: white goods (freezers, fridges, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers), small domestic appliances, power tools, TV’s, monitors, batteries other than lead acid
    • Rechargeable devices: vapes and e-scooters
